NANTA SHOW

Nanta show is a famous cooking and comedy show from Korea.

In 28 February 2014, I had an opportunity to see Nanta show at Rca plaza building. This is a famous cooking and comedy show from Korea. It is a traditional percussive Korean music. After their debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2001, nanta show became the first Asian show to appear on Broadway in New York in 2005. Nanta show brings kitchen equipment to create rhythm and sound. The highlight of the show isn't only kitchen equipment but it is a non-verbal show.

Nanta show is funny show that tells the story of cooking show. There are 3 cooks, 1 manager and 1 nephew manager. The manager entered to announce that they have to prepare a feast for a wedding happening just 1 hour. They didn't know before a wedding banquet. As if that’s not stressful enough, the manager brought along his nephew and asked the three cooks to teach him as well. When they cooked, turn the stage full of kitchen items such as pots, pans, chopping block, knives and brooms in to rhythmic percussion instruments. There’s a love story and an action scene with kang fu spinning kicks. Moreover, there was also a magic show and audience participation that makes me excited all the time.

If you are looking for a great show for the whole your family, I would like to recommend you to see Nanta show. his is a good show. No boring moments, you can be sure of a good laugh and enjoy the show.
